Roof Inspection

During the installation process of the Fatra flat roof waterproofing solution a Fatra Field Service Technician will make periodic visits to the project to ensure that the system is being installed in accordance with Fatra recommendations, details and specification.

During these visits a fully comprehensive inspection will be carried out covering such items as compliance with specification, wind load fixing patterns, system application and interface detailing.

Following the inspection, a detailed report will be issued to the Fatra approved contractor. The site auditing will continue throughout the construction phase until such time as the Fatra system is complete and ready for a final inspection.

Once the final inspection has been completed and signed off by the Fatra Field Service Technician. Following a final sign off the Fatra approved roofing contractor can then apply for the product guarantee.

The Fatra Field Service Technician will also provide advice and assistance during the inspection process with any issues such as non-standard details, interfaces and junctions and complications that have not previously been addressed.

Through the support of the Fatra Field Service Technician, Fatra are available to provide advice and training on the basic principles of the application of our systems to the principal contractors site team along with tool box talks to the supervisors of follow on trades in protection and best practice whilst working on or around a newly constructed roof.
