Fatra a.s. is a member of the AGROFERT group of companies who have strong links to the agriculture, food, ground technology and chemical industry employing more than 34 thousand employees.

Based in the Czech Republic, Fatra a.s ranks amongst the world’s most significant plastic processing companies. As an integral part of the plastic processing industry, 75% of its production from its manufacturing plants in Napajedla and Chropyně is bound for international markets.

Fatra a.s provides testing, mixing, manufacturing and research and development of plastic materials in the manufacture of PVC floor coverings, waterproofing membranes, technical vinyl foils, plastic extruded profiles, PVC granulate, biaxial-oriented polyester films, injection moulding and thermoformed products such as cups, bowls and lids.

Having held the ISO9001 Quality Standard since 1994 and the ISO14001 Environmental Standard since 2000 Fatra has continued to build on a foundation of quality, service and a commitment to the environment; recent investment has led to the doubling of production capacity while maintaining quality. With a key focus on the environment and sustainability the plant in Napajedla includes a €30M recycling plant which enables manufacturing waste to be recycled and incorporated back into the production of new materials.
